I checked the voltage of the generator of my car. It's about 14.2v. But the voltage in most Jump starter is about 12.4v when full charged.

FYI the user reviews for this are showing 2500A not 4000A
Be sure to double check it when it comes in

Both those numbers are BS most likely. With the 8 gauge leads these usually come with, you can only get about 500A through them for a couple seconds before they melt. Most of these cheap jump starters give you far less and are relying on your weak battery to do most of the work.

As expected.

Ordered it and I got a 2500A one instead of 4000A.

Returning it

I don't think you understand how cars or these jump starters work.

Contacted seller about the incorrect item and they were no help at all.
They're intentionally mislabeling these and banking on users not bothering to read.

When your car needs to be "jumped", the battery is usually very low in voltage. Or, you may have a battery that shows about 12v but does not have enough "juice" - meaning it cannot produce enough current to the starter. That's why you need this type of jumper for that kind of emergency.
