I just moved from Texas to Michigan… are these type of boots a good all-around, wear when it's wet or snowy, type shoes?
Don't want to be wearing rubber rain bolts, but want something better in the snowy parking lots and trails than my sneakers.

Made in USA? I'm a little concerned with the build quality of this at such steep discount

I have some expired Asolo boots I need to replace. Are these a big difference?

There's a good selection of extra wide (XW) sizes available for fat footed folks like myself.

I have this pair that I started wearing in 2018. I only wear them in the winter, I am outside everyday doing car lot inventories, in Michigan. I've walked thru slush, water and snow and they keep my feet dry. I was debating on another pair, since this is such a good deal, but mine are still in great shape, so it is hard to justify.

I know wolverine is a popular brand in the industry. I wonder if only me had very bad experience to their waterproof shoes. I had one pair of boot and one pair of hiking shoes both declared to be waterproof. But every time I got wet feet after walking in wet grass and snow on the streets in NYC. Was I bad luck or their quality goes downhill?

If their forte is waterproof, then I wonder how comfortable they would be year around? Seems like they would get hot and sweaty. I need some hiking boots, but it seems these are more suited to frigid temps?

Can an experienced hiker explain to this noob how to be confident descending scree and loose scrabble? Even a slight 5 degree decline freaks me out. I feel like I amabout to slip and slide straight down the slope. End up getting on my but and all fours to descend, looking ridiculous.

Like on vacation in Cappadocia, I was descending backwards on all fours. Meanwhile, a dad was carrying his kid and practically galloping down the slope.

Definitely not year round unless you don't mind sweating

What the f*ck?!

"We regret to inform you that your order WXXXX9 is unable to be shipped to your region as it includes an item that is not compliant with Colorado's HB22-1345 (Chemical Consumer Protection Act). Because of this, we will be cancelling your order and issuing a refund."

Edit:
Wolverine customer service was kind enough to cover the cost of express shipping so I could have them delivered to New Mexico and pick them up over Thanksgiving when I'm there visiting family.
