If you have Walmart+, you get the "value installation" upgrade (which includes road hazard protection) for free, or $18/tire, same as basic installation.

Walmart in November / Black Friday-ish really is the best time to buy tires. Literally hundreds of $ less than going to a local tire shop.

I ordered this tire on my 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5 with automatic transmission (not cvt last year of automatic). My current tires are manufactured in 2014 according to the date code.. it is cracked looks dangerous but then I only put less than 5k miles per year (rotating 3 cars). I am planning on putting new rear struts before installing a new tire. After I put these new tires, I am getting the life time alignment at Firestone for $249.99 coupon price.

I also ordered the same tire on my 2005 Toyota Camry. Just need to install all 4 and get the life time alignment which car already has. Current tires are 5 years old.

Be sure to do alignment on your suspension before or quickly after putting new tires or you will have an uneven wear on your tires. Makes sure your struts, links, tie rod, wheel bearing, drive axle, and control arm bushings are good before putting on new tires. These components all factor into tire wear. Thanks CarWizard and Concept3.

Beware of Walmart tire service. When I tried to make a claim on the tire warranty, the people there have no idea how to do it. They told me to call the tire manufacturer to claim, which is not possible. Stick with Discount Tires, you'll pay more but get much better service.

That may be correct.. I got a nail in my tire for the first time in my life about 1 week after they put new tires on. They replaced that for free
They replaced mine with a free tire under road hazard but charged installation again. Could not get them to rotate the tires while there to replace the tire; kept telling me to make an appointment and come back.

These tires are very good for the price. Bought a set last black friday for our older SUV that we put maybe 2k miles on a year and found they work fine in wet and dry conditions. Definitely pair this with Walmart+ for the upgraded tire service. One thing I will say is prepare to sit in Walmart for a long time on install. They do not move fast there.

I love these tires. Put them on my Honda CRV and I find no issues with them. This is a great deal.
Same vehicle here and it's a good match. I previously used their Douglas tire that was this price annually and this tire is substantially better in the wet. wears great and quite. Handling is mid.

Just ordered tires. Was at 6 year mark. Discovered Discount Tire has gotten more expensive, like everything else.

Is it fine if I just bring the wheels with old tires to them w/o car? Reason I'm asking is that the tires are severely cracked in the tread and dont want to drive on highway.

Lol. Mavis installed the wrong tires on my car and then didn't have a working alignment machine. That was before they stole my car battery...

Quality of installation can be shoddy at Wally World. Is the balance equipment calibrated? Does the tech clean the rim prior to installation? Does the tech measure and input rim dimension? Does the tech check the rim for damage? A good tech will reposition the tire if more than 1 oz weight is needed at a single location.

Always check the age of the tires prior to installation. Those tires could be sitting for years at the store. Best approach is to ship the tires to your house and return them if they are more than 3 months old.

Why not if it's less work for them? Tires should be OK for short highway trip if you inflate to spec (cold) and check thread for bulging. Note that a good shop will wire brush the rim and hub prior to installation.
