Does anyone know the warranty period on this TV? I've read that the C5 models tend to run hot. Would it be worthwhile purchasing through Sam's/Costco instead?

There's a different S40T soundbar now but it's only 2.1, not nearly as nice as the SC9S they were offering last month

depends what your room is like, if you're going full home theater and going to be watching in the dark then S90F for the wider color gamut and slightly brighter HDR. But if its going to me a mixed use TV in a room with any light at all go with the C5, problem with QD-OLED is any ambient light is going to absolutely crush the black levels causing the picture to look more washed out. Check the "Ambient Black Level Raise" on the rtings review and you'll see what I mean.
Also the S90F may have its upsides in perfect conditions over the C5 but the C5 has its own areas where it excels over the S90F, like motion handling as well as SDR brightness. Also as far as HDR goes the C5 in some cases cant still beat out the S90F even with its wider color gamut, simply because the C5 has Dolby Vision so if the content you are watching has been DV mastered the C5 will beat out the S90F with DV's superior tone mapping even with the S90F's stats.
TLDR: If watching in heavily light controlled home theater like room get the S90F, if watching in a typical bedroom, living room, etc. get the C5
