I was able to get access thru my work email. They have a program called Beneplace (Buy&Save), other companies have similar discount programs. LG is a partner thru it. I used my work email address and was able to get an account and get this price and free offers.

Lg partner account doesn't seem to really have any oversight. I registered myself through my personal website email address and they approved it.
AFAIK they just approve anyone who isn't trying to register with a standard email service or something
