Do NOT buy this. Samsung appliances are hot dog shit and you'd be better off washing by hand. My Samsung dishwasher is five years old. In the last two years, all of the plastic pins holding the facade metal on the front have broken off due to brittle, cheap plastic. The control board failed and I had to fix it myself. The bottom trim piece fell off, again cheap plastic. The top sprayer fell off mid load and couldn't be reconnected. The plastic coverings of the buttons are all peeling.

And to top it all off, it washes dishes about as well as a blind butler with no arms. If you want a good dishwasher, look up Ben's Appliances on YouTube.

Every time i see a Samsung dishwasher on sd I read comments looking for a post like urs to keep me in check...thx. unfortunately i see similar reviews with Bosch. My fridgedaire been clunking along for 20yrs and id like to put it out of both our miseries but seems quality of everything now sucks

Samsung usually make decent phones (except Note 7 and S22) but also crappy appliances.
The place I lived previouly had a Korean family who lived there, and they left some like-new appliances for the next tenants. Fridge's ice maker broke after 2 years, washer's drum detached after 2 years, and dishwasher leaking after 3 years.

Ben's Appliances, I trust him with anything appliance related because he'll refer you to specific models not just the brand in general. I've had to replace our 4 year old Samsung fridge, 5 year old Maytag washer and 5 year old Maytag dryer in the last 3 years.

lol, Samsung appliances do get a very bad reputation. The washers from Samsung are pretty bad, needing expensive repairs frequently. Even if you diy on the repairs, it is usually one of the more expensive parts, where it doesn't make sense repairing it.

I have to agree! My oven is unusable because the control panel on our Samsun stove decided to short out. Bought a replacement which was just as expensive as a used stove, and no luck.
