$1500 is still high for C4. hopefully it will go down to $1200 in the warehouse.

Seems like the deal for the 77" C5 for $1,620 (plus a $200 gift card if you review) at the LG partner store is still a better deal if you have access, no?

Edit: I'm aware Costco brings a 5 year warranty but from what I've read, it doesn't cover burn in.

If you can get it delivered within a reasonable amount of time, then yes it's probably a better deal. But this one states delivery as soon as November 14 (according to my app). If I am in the market for an OLED I would go for this or the 83" b4 model that is the same price, my only decision would be the trade of size vs slightly superior quality with the C series. And for $30 they set it up for you. $1530 for a high quality TV, set up in three days and ready for the games on Thanksgiving and the bowl games that follow and the movies that the family watches on holiday nights vs wondering when a cheaper price will come along or when the partner store will actually deliver - I know which I would choose.

Good thing burn-in isn't prevalent anymore, and hasn't been for about 7 years.

LG Partner Store is offering the G5 for about the same price. I almost bit until i read it does not come iwth a stand as I don't wall mount. Right now I can get a TCL QM8k 85 inch for 1797 at best buy which I am seriously considering. Honestly I am torn between holy shit that is a big tv and holy shit that is a big oled TV but not as big as the mini led one...lol.

for viewing experience, i think depends if you have a brighter room or darker room as well as sitting distance.

I went with C5 partner deal. C4/5 is quite popular, that can rule out some random issue like the power supply on those s90d, gaming is also good.

Where are you seeing an 83" B4 for 1500 bucks?

OLED is fantastic but the biggest issue is brightness or that POP you get.

Every time I look at the store, the mini LED look so kick ass bright.

When they say the SDR brightness is OK....meh...I go with the C5

Can anybody let me know

The LG C4 has decent brightness overall. Its SDR brightness is okay; enough to overcome some glare in a well-lit room, but you'd still wish it was brighter when watched in very bright contexts. In HDR, it's bright enough for highlights to pop, especially when set against the TV's perfect black levels, delivering an impressive HDR experience.

The LG C5 has surprisingly great brightness overall and receives a very noticeable uptick in brightness compared to the LG C4 OLED. Its SDR brightness is very good, so it overcomes glare in most bright rooms. Its HDR brightness is great, making small and medium-sized highlights pop out in HDR content.

BINGO...I AM SOLD. MUST MATCH MY JERSEY..
The LG C5 is very good for watching sports. The TV is bright enough to overcome glare from indirect lighting. Although it does an alright job of reducing the intensity of direct reflections, you still see the reflection of lamps or windows that are opposite the screen. The TV displays colors that are vibrant and accurate, so your favorite team's jersey looks the same as the one you're wearing when you watch the game. It has excellent upscaling and smoothing capabilities, which help low-resolution and low-quality feeds look good. Finally, image quality mostly stays consistent no matter where you're sitting due to its wide viewing angle, making it an excellent choice for watching the big game with a group.
