Comments like this are completely not helpful. If it's between going hungry or eating something with a lot of sodium, people need to freaking eat.

ffs man, people don't need a lecture on what you think they should or shouldn't be eating.
keep it to yourself the next time you feel the need to lecture.

I tried to order this a couple weeks ago during a similar sale and they canceled my order. Bastards! I'll try again as there is another local food drive coming up.

How quaint! So these cans of salt water are going to help to prevent starvation??? If you don't have money to buy dried beans and rice (which is MUCH more nutritious and cheaper), then you don't have money for this soup. Especially once the doctors' bills start piling up from all of the hypertension related chronic illnesses. Slickdeals is not helping to combat world hunger. It is promoting unhealthy dietary patterns and collecting affiliate commissions in the process... Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Any time I see a bad product on this site, I'm gonna point it out. It might be a bad PC part, or a poorly quality electronic gadget, or a junk video game. Garbage food is no different. There's a reason why slickdeals has a downvote option stating: "Not a good product."

You don't like it? Too bad. I guess you'd prefer to be surrounded by shills that don't actually care about consumers getting quality products. Well, that's you. I don't need your lectures. Please keep it to yourself. I'm here to discuss the product being promoted by this site.

From Google:
Campbell's chicken noodle soup was invented in 1934 as "Noodle with Chicken" and was renamed "Chicken Noodle" in 1938 after a radio announcer misread the advertisement. It was created by Campbell's head chef, Ernest Lacoutiere, to be an affordable option for homemakers during the Great Depression.

I doubt it's been the cause of death of anyone in 91 years. Go troll somewhere else. Clearly you have nothing else to do.

From Google:
An estimated 1.89 million deaths annually can be attributed to high sodium intake, with excessive consumption leading to high blood pressure and increased risk of cardiovascular diseases. This figure is based on recent estimates from organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO). While some earlier studies reported slightly different numbers, such as 1.65 million deaths in 2010, the most current data indicates a figure close to 1.9 million deaths each year due to high sodium intake.

Ouch. Wow. The truth hurts. It fact, it can be deadly.

Hmm. That's so kind of you to try to help out people in need of sustenance. Perhaps you could do even greater good for people by considering options that will be better for their health while ALSO giving them far more healthy calories. Consider:

8 Cans - 10.75-Oz Campbell's Condensed Soup (Chicken Noodle) - $4.87 (1200 kcal / 17,800 mg sodium)

versus:
Amazon Fresh, Pinto Beans, Whole, 16 Oz (Pack of 3) - $2.52 (3120 kcal)
Mahatma Extra-Long-Grain Rice 2-Pound Rice Bag - $2.36 (3200 kcal)

You could do much more good for your community and the people would enjoy better health outcomes.

I speak for the majority when I say that we're sick of being preached to... eat what you want and care for your body as you want, but leave us the shell alone! Slick Deals is about saving money, not the world!
