'150' refers to the type of wool used (basically, it's 'hand' or 'fineness' or coarseness if you will - higher numbers are less coarse. nice suits use super 120, or super 100 for example). This just has more total wool content vs the other one.

FYI this is Eddie Bauer's 'First Ascent' line, which is their 'mountaineering' line, supposedly built for more authentic/rugged use.

Still a good deal if you ask me.

The #s you see for wool suits refer to the quality of the wool. The higher the # the finer the wool which makes it more expensive....better drape but less durability. The #s for wool in shirts, etc refers to the weight of the wool...grams per sq yard or something. The higher the # the thicker/heavier the material. These are 150 and thin enough to almost need pasties. 250 is almost twice as thick. For the price these are an absolute steal. I'm in for 5
