Sad thing is Digital cameras were still kind of clumsy, so I've lost all the proof! Still have packs of CD-R's in my parents basement from 20 10 to 20 years ago, whenever that all went down. Mom refused to throw them out, even though I've flown the coop for more than a decade.

dang, i remember when this thread would be hopping with arguments and fights. this thread would some 20 pages deep too.

guessing the resellers are parents now looking down on new resellers, lol.

Incredible longshot, but have you tried the state you were living in at the time's Unclaimed Asset Recovery site? Most states have them. You type in your name and address and unclaimed assets from years ago pop up. I have seen stock certs on there and unclaimed dividends as well. (In California anyway) Good luck!

And my finder's fee for you for this info is 25%. laugh out loud
