Broadchurch is also worth a watch. The first season was so emotionally devastating that I couldn't go on to the second season.

I read a review of Season 3 of Delhi Crime. The review was positive but said that the characters were getting too predictable and it only showed the good side of the police. The characters are predictable because after 3 seasons we know them now and it's a good thing. Their actions have more context. When a character does something that you don't expect, you go wait, what just happened here? Every episode doesn't have to invent the wheel. The show is better if you know what to expect from the characters. As far as not showing the bad side of police, the reviewer must be watching a different show. There's a scene where the interrogation goes light years beyond anything that Stabler would ever do and the boss is there watching the whole thing. There's a huge moral question that results from this. If the police get the desired result, can they justify how they got it? If this happened in NY, there would be full-scale riots and they'd burn down the police station but in Delhi it's just another day. Like I said, the reviewer needs to make sure that his tv is on the right channel.

I finished the last episode of The Asset last night. I liked it all until the ending. I was hoping it was going to be all wrapped up since it was billed as a limited series but it actually left things hanging; Still no definitive word if there will be a second season or not.

It's a hot mess that's for sure but I'd rather have a series end unresolved than have it suddenly come together at the end because the characters did a bunch of stupid things. I tried watching The Beast in Me (#1 on Netflix) but Aggie is a total downer so I quit after the 2nd episode. Each show starts off with a murder and possible suspect. The crimes are solved by CCTV (there are cameras everywhere) and phone records (the police have access to them). I haven't seen any violence by the Indian police so far but the police have threatened suspects that if they don't start talking some bad things will happen. I'm into shows like this so I'll keep watching until the UFC fights come on at 5 PST. The prelims are free on ESPN News and the main card is a ppv and the best card of the year (at least on paper). It's raining very hard here and there's no sense in going outside since the streets are like a river. I got drenched going over to Vons this morning. We've got heavy rain all week so I'll be watching a lot of tv.

Unfortunately, Robocop won. I don't like fighters who hit people that are unconscious. At least he didn't get any mic time.

Erin Blanchfield won and the announcers were saying that she might get a title shot but there's no way that she can beat Valentina or Weili. She's got the submissions but not the takedowns.

Bo Nickal won his fight but his opponent was tailor-made to get knocked out.

The ppv is up next.

I went 4 and 1 on my picks. Islam totally dominated Jack. Jack had no answer for Islam's leg kicks, takedowns, and control on the ground.

Islam at 170 pounds is too much for anybody in the division. I thought that JDM had a chance but he was totally dominated in every round. I'd like to see Morales go up against Islam next. He's an explosive striker with tremendous knockout power so he'd have the best chance of pulling off a win.

I wanted to watch something light so I checked out High Potential. I saw the first 2 episodes and I enjoyed it. Then I gave Abbott Elementary a try. I love it!! Highly recommended!!

The problem with Hulu is that the commercials are excessive. The free month is only available if you get the ads. The commercials come on every 3 minutes or so. The other streaming services have been good about not having too many commercials but Hulu is ridiculous. I like the content and Hulu is easy to use but the commercials are going to drive me away.

I want to see Islam vs Morales. Morales is the bigger guy and has serious power. It'll be an interesting match-up for Islam. I really hope that they don't do Islam vs Usman or Islam vs Ian Garry. Usman is 1 and 3 in his last 4 fights and Garry is good but I don't give him much of a chance against Islam. Morales is 18 and 0 and has 3 first round knockouts in his last 3 fights. I'm not going to pick against Islam again but Morales is going to be tough.
