Sirens was weird. I watched it a while ago. Liked the outfits and the vibe, and a lot of things about it. BUT, I thought it should have been a lot longer and more involved. Like, they texted something about sirens and that was their SOS call, right? Like because there had been sirens in their youth? That should have been elaborated on. Plus, they were sirens, men couldn't stay away from them. That should have been elaborated on too. I wanted more.
I thought the World Series had ended a day before it did, sorry. I wasn't really paying attention since no New York or Philadelphia teams were involved. And it went on forever. I lost track.
Inception was not for me, but my son liked it. I don't tend to like things that play with reality and question reality. I am way too anxious for that. And a lot of it didn't make sense.
It was about some people who were able to extract information from people through their dreams, and then one guy wanted them to implant an idea into someone through his dreams.
Another problem with it was that all of the dreams seemed horrible and bleak. If you can design dreams, why not make them awesome?
My mom used to say she didn't like us hanging out with this other family, because the kids cursed a lot and we would have foul mouths after being exposed to it. I guess it is true. When you hear profanity a lot it becomes a more natural part of your speech. At least for me and the C word. (Interestingly, they were rich. The father was an anesthesiologist. We were a lot more middle class.)

SPOILER ALERT BELOW
On Sirens, I think you're talking about a different show. Julianne Moore gets dumped and Milly Alcock and Kevin Bacon end up together.
END SPOILER
It was a great game and showed why you never give up.
I screwed up on Inception. I started watching Interceptor and it was really bad. I got 30 minutes in and went wait, this can't possibly be the movie that Kiki was talking about lmao.
Speaking of awesome dreams, I saw The Billion Dollar Code which was about how Google Earth came to be. The early programmers had such awesome dreams about what a force for good the internet could be but then the rich people took over and turned the internet into what it is now.

I may be misremembering Sirens because I watched it in the middle of the night, but I think there was a reference to one of the sisters texting the other "sirens." I felt like I wanted to know more than they showed.
I'm actually not a huge Helen Miran fan either. I really want to be, because she seems like an elegant feminist, but she's kind of boring. I guess I'm neutral on her.
When you were describing You Don't Know Me I was thinking that you were saying that the show was mocking shows with too many twists and turns, but then I re-read it. Kind of funny the guy looks like Tupac.

I looked online and the show that used the c-word a lot is Mobland. Maybe you're thinking of The Hunting Wives instead of Sirens.
I'm not political at all but I'm strongly anti-Trump because of the ICE raids and government shutdown. The people who have EBT don't get their benefits this month. What are they supposed to do? I'm glad that the Dems had a good showing last night and that your candidate won. We need to send a message to Trump that what he's doing is not what the American people want.
