Bright light, compared to other torches that we use. It was good news that the battery is a standard form factor 18650. While it's convenient to charge the device up by a USB-C cable, swapping in a charged battery saves time and makes it less disposable than if the battery was not replaceable."

Bought these couple months back and it has usb-c charging and it's also the brightest flashlight I ever had but I'm no flashlight expert.

I bought a different version mid November. There's nothing "cheap" about them. Very bright and handy for an after dinner walk. Lightweight and fit well in in palm of my hand. I absolutely recommend these flashlights.

Last 10 or so flashlights ive purchased were Sofirn and Wurkkos, which all but one have been great. Do these come close to those brands? Im not expecting the same quality nor brightness at 1/3-1/5 the cost but curious on performance

Lol, you don't need a bms when you only have 1 cell. Also d cell flashlights don't have a bms either. What kind of safety are you even worried about? If you're too scared to use the flashlight, you can use a candle.
