True.
However, this has a noticeably bigger battery and comes with an SD card reader.

Which HP offer specifically? Genuinely interested as this seems like an outstanding combination of features for a decent price

Can you explain why? The dell one has RYZEN 7 350, only 20 bucks more. Is it better?

The only better thing about that is the processor and more storage. This comes with an OLED display, a slightly bigger battery, better and more ports, and it's lighter too. You can upgrade the storage down the road.

The price has increased now, but it keeps coming back after a day or two.

Is this better than the HP omnibook x 14 in terms of construction and quality? I bought the $499 deal from yesterday but could return it and buy this one instead.

They are similar in build quality. But the majority of YouTube tech reviews favor the OmniBook lineup this year, whether it's the OmniBook X or the OmniBook Ultra.
