I want to use this in the trunk of my SUV. I've been looking for an affordable storage box for back there. I just wish I knew which to believe, as the width of the slimmest point on mine is juuuuust over 45". The pictures on this say 45.2", while the description on this post says 45.6". So important in my case, lol.
I don't mind flimsy for storing cushions, but the part I saw with a different cheap one is that the plastic sort of warped creating a way for water to enter and the lid doesn't seal tightly. I have a beast from Costco to compare to.

The panels in the back of your SUV can allow you to shove this and compensate the spacing once you have it in. You just have to watch for clearance on the rear window at the top corner of these things. Just gotta make those 3rd measurements once you have the storage in your hands and ready to slide in.
