Note that it is 1000W. I have gotten 1200W (simple one withoutthe additional cups and accessories) for the same price in the past and it also comes in 1500W, I believe. Now 1200W (without the "professional" with extra accessories) is hard to come by with this price. I use this everyday for years. If you are using heavy blending with all kinds of greens (more concentrated), then go no less than 1200W one. 1000W one would need more water to make smoothie and not burn out too easily
