Inventory is often co-mingled. So it may not matter if you buy from Amazon or not.

Foundations was a great product. If you are building your collection, this is a great way to start. If the play boosters went on sale, I would definitely get those.

I purchased these at $90 from Woot a while back. I love the Jumpstart format, they are an EXCELLENT way for someone to start. Foundations is a great starting point. Also good for collectors like myself. Woot is trusted, you won't get resealed packs from janky sellers.

p sure amazon overstock that won't sell, but using jumpstart to get games going is really fun, 780 cards in the set, with two cards valued at $40, two cards valued at $15, and twenty cards valued between $1 to $5. Not too much value other than actually using jumpstart as intended. I built some replay-able cubes with past jump start sets.

A lot of people have trouble buying packs from Amazon (and I guess Woot?) because they end up with fakes or opened products. It's pretty well documented on some of the magic subreddits. I personally buy a lot from Amazon and haven't had any problems, but you should still be somewhat wary.

If I'm buying from Amazon, I only buy directly from Amazon and haven't had any issues. I'd be weary about 3rd party sellers.

I did and got about $200 in value in just rares/mythical alone. I regret absolutely nothing.

You must have forgotten like 3 months ago they had listed collector boosters for $10 on Woot and ended up sending collector booster boxes instead. lol

The cards have different tiers, common, uncommon, rare, mythic etc. The best cards are mythic and they usually come 2 per box. People will open a box then open 1 pack at a time until they find the two mythic, then sell the remaining packs. They will do this to multiple boxes, then gather 36 packs and sell them as a repacked box
I never touch single packs from sellers unless it's in a store and they are left over from a draft or something like that. Never trust random Internet sellers

Is one of these enough to make to playable beginner decks? I wanted to get my kids into it. I haven't played since the days of Mirage.
