Uber Eats has a YMMV offer for $25 off of $75 for Retail purchases.

The Google TV Streamer (4K) is currently on sale for $74.99 via BestBuy. You will need a filler item, which I used Lively SIM/eSIM kit for $2 which brings the subtotal to 76.99. With Uber one I got:
$76.99 Subtotal
$0 delivery
$8.90 Service fee
$7.70 Taxes
-$2 scheduled delivery discount
-$3.85 Membership Benefit
-$25 coupon
Total = $62.84

If you caught the Costco Uber Gift Card deal $100 GC for $75, it makes the net price $47.13. You can still purchase the Uber Gift card for $100 GC for $80

You can also get the Google Streamer from Lowe's, Home Depot, Staples, etc.

Is this good for portable plex?

I'd like to have a travel device that I can take to someones house that is good for playing full 1080p rips remotely.

It will definitely do the trick but it's honestly probably overkill if that's all you need. If you have the plex app on your phone, a previous gen chromecast will easily fit that bill. But this has the benefit of having more memory and CPU power for future-proofing and more versatility if you actually use it in your home.

Definitely YMMV, not seeing the $25 discount.

ONN has extra port for add-on storage and a backlit remote which the Google Streamer doesn't. The G Streamer has 1 GB extra RAM and integrates with google home devices which the ONN the doesn't.

They're very similar. I have the ONN and have used the Google device (extensively) as well (elsewhere). IMHO, the overall performance is close (as is the memory, which can be critically important). I found that the Google device is a bit snappier overall....but If you're satisfied with the ONN, I wouldn't recommend spending the money (even with this deal).
BTW, the routine price for this should be $50! The $100 (routine) price tag is ridiculous!

In my case, with the fees & taxes added, I would be saving only approx. $5....which is pointless!

Onn is worth it just for the remote alone

Because everyone is realizing how underpowered is the inbuilt "Smart TV " on all TVs

And that's before you tip the driver for bringing it to you.
