Solid deal. I paid $179 with the hack last year and thought it was a great deal. Could have gotten a 5.0 ah battery for $20 more.

I assume this could run smaller pads with a different backing plate, right? Any downsides? Got a bunch of 6" and maybe some 5" pads I've used with my corded buffer.

They're obviously consumables, but hate to have to buy all new pads at the same time. Seems a waste.
