Is it worth almost double price to go with 6E? Anyone upgrade from 6+ to 6E, appreciate if you can share your reasons. My internet is 1Gbps.

For 1g this is fine, the 6e has a 2.5gb ethernet port and supports up to 1.6gbps theoretical WiFi speeds.. imo the eero 7 is the best deal. WiFi 7 is the next step in evolution.

My Eero 6 Pro (not what's being sold here) has worked flawlessly for the past two years. I can't customize and tweak settings like I could with my old Asus, but the mesh feature just works and I've had zero issues at all, which I think is pretty rare.

How many devices do you have that can take advantage of WiFi 7 at this stage? Probably none.

Our phones, but why not future proof? Why did you buy a 4k TV before you had any 4k movies/streams? Should've bought that 1080p instead.

I didn't. I wait for things like that to improve and come down in price.

Not everyone likes to buy twice, including myself

If I have eero max 7 mesh system, would I benefit from placing these at the extremities of my property rather than buying more expensive mad 7s?

Yes, it will work great! The caveat being that the Eero Max 7 is a tri-band setup (2.4ghz, 5ghz, 6ghz), which uses the 6ghz band as a dedicated backhaul, while the Eero 6 is a dual-band setup with backhaul and device traffic sharing the same spectrum. Nothing you'll notice unless you're pulling a lot of data.
