I'm a noob at 3D printing but want to get into it. I want a capable, reliable machine and I'm assuming this is moreso that the others I've seen posted here with listing on alliexpress, etc... What am I getting here relative to other solutions?

Check Costco's return policy to make sure it covers these beyond 90 days. That's the only way I'd buy into Creality. Their customer support is horrendous.
I'm kind of a printing noob, but I have about 1600 hours on my P1S and essentially no problems that weren't user error. IDK about Creality, but I feel the internet sentiment of its quality and being able to expect it to print right out of the box isn't as good. I'd go $10 more for the P1S combo.
I watched this on ebay, they sent an offer for $600 that stacked with the 20% off FYI (net $480 + taxes/etc). I didn't get it not sure a AMS is the way to go; I still haven't bought a printer been watching them for a few months now, looking at features and watching videos, another option is print a part a certain color and glue it (if possible). if you wait until next year there are new printers that exchange the hotend, IMO much better to not waste material.

Great features. I held off on getting the $199 K1C refurb in hopes of getting this cheap in a year or so.
For newbs, I'm not quite sure this is worth 300+ more for AMS, large learning curve with AMS and wasted material. Why not K1C? I'm waiting for that one to drop more

this or the P1S combo for $10 more?
From my research, Bambu labs is a much better product if you want it to reliably work, unless you really want to tinker with your printer.
K1C was already a great printer. I havent used the K2, but if its anything like the K1C its great. Ignore Bambu fanboys they like to think its still day 1 X1C when they were competing against crappy creality ender series
There are thumbs down whenever someone recommends Bambu. Can you share the reason for thumbs down? Because I've read several reviews and seem almost everyone if not all, recommends Bambu for reliability and ease of use.
