How can you check how many cycles it had?

Same here. The only thing I could think of is the teeth of the clamps are obviously worn down looking.

Can I leave a battery like this in the frunk of my EV, or will it slowly drain out and be useless (esp in the winter)?

[Ioniq 6 has known 12V ICCU issues and sometimes requires jumping the 12V if the main battery stops charging it]

isn't it a charger? What cycles are you talking about? It's not a battery.

This isn't a battery. It's an AC-powered battery charger.

Should not matter how often it has been used, just a charger.

I have this and the issue I had is that I had a dead battery, wouldn't even crank the car, but this showed it as good and fully charged instead of letting me know it was dead.

There was no way to tell how many cycles this unit has had. Not sure exactly where or how you're coming up with this
