Bought this tv last BF and have gotten so many compliments on it. I think it's okay as a tv with regards to picture quality. I think the UI is fine. Probably not the best processor speed, but I haven't found it to be laggy. The matte finish when it's in its art mode is fantastic. Looks great in my upstairs living room. Comes with a wall mount that is super easy to install and place the TV on.

On the contrary, it has a much better picture and it's been amazing. We've received many compliments.

How is the stand on these things?
I have some bigger plans for redoing the wall where the TV would go, so I'd be setting it on the TV console until I'm ready to wall mount it.

I wasn't talking about the picture. Tizen OS that drives the software is horrible. Speaking of the picture, it's an edge lit display bottom of the barrel display(as are the Hisense and TCL equivalents). So LOL on the better picture statement.

Rtings says it's better than the art like competition. Software is fine.

Suppose I use an external streaming player (CCwGTV, Apple TV, etc.) does that create a headache to get back into "art mode"? I don't want to change the input source back to the TV's native menu's just to display art.

While I haven't double checked the specs, I tend to prefer external streaming devices for their snappiness and support for formats I enjoy (Atmos, Dolby Vision, etc.).

I don't care what the pixel peepers at RTINGS have to say. We just got rid of '22 Frame for the TCL. Zero perceptible difference in terms of display quality. At the end of the day they all have low quality LCD panels. It's the software that makes a difference in this case. Google TV > Tizen all day long.

We use a Roku Ultra since there are some apps that aren't available natively. It works fine. You can kind of get away with the single TV remote and it controls the Roku. when you power off the TV it enters art mode.

Ahh, that makes sense. Thank you. I didn't appreciate that powering off the TV displays art. I assumed it was a "screensaver".

Does this come with 2 stands? I only see a wall mount. Is this tv required to be mounted to a wall?

Yup, straight to a lame insult. About what I would expect considering the previous responses.
Personally I don't like GoogleTV either. For the 6 months I've had my Hisense GoogleTV, it's rebooted on me 9-10 times randomly, at times it glitch and reboot multiple times in a row.

The video playback would also be choppy at times, you would need to turn off/on the TV again to fix it.

Samsung/Tizen isn't perfect, but definitely don't remember as many random reboots or choppy videos. Similarly AppleTV has been great (and NO ads!!).

Wow, just seen one of these in person. Just as good quality as the Samsung Frame. Great price!

It does come with two leg stands to attach along with the slim mount.

We just got this a couple days ago and mounted it. Didn't have a flush or recessed outlet where we hung it up, so you can the cord but it does look great.

Anyone else who has this... is there an easy way to plug in an HDMI cable without having to remove it from the wall? I'm waiting for a slim cable to be delivered and didn't have it at the time we mounted it. In retrospect, I should have waited for that cable but was too anxious to get it up on the wall lol.
