65' TV for gaming

I am looking to upgrade to something that can run 120fps on Xbox series x. Been looking at the $500 deals posted for the low 7 rated end stuff on rtngs, but thinking it should spend $800-900 on an Oled that's in the 8-8.5 range instead of doing a half upgrade. Think there's something worthwhile now or should I wait? I am using a headset so audio doesn't matter. Room isn't bright either. This tv will almost solely used for gaming as I'll mount my existing 65 above it for sports I passively watch while playing.
