My only takeaway from this thread is that you shouldn't get your running advice from a couponing site.

Even so, they're useful only if your average pace is 6m/mi or faster. If you're a slower runner like me, they will hurt more than help.

While this is an excellent deal, just a heads up Vaporfly (or any carbon plated race shoe) are only good for those who do marathons/5k/10k etc and are NOT good if you have any issues with plantar fasciitis, flat feet or the like.

It's not true that carbon plate only works for super fast runners but the benefits increase with increased speed.

Honestly, no. Get the cheaper more comfortable Pegasus or Vomero. These Vaporfly wreck a lot of legs when used daily at easy efforts.

You don't need to run that fast for them to be useful. They're race shoes or fast workout shoes and anyone will benefit from the lighter, responsive carbon plate.

However, this is not recommended for marathon racing as the stack height is low, not enough . It's OK for Half marathon or shorter distances.
