At this point I regret buying the Anker 3800 Solix Plus around 4th or july. This looks much better.

Problem is it's already outdated, as the X version is out. Pretty amazing for portable power though.

about the same vs ankers comob pack of 1 3800 plus + 1 expansion battery + 400w solar. still mulling which system, i'm leaning toward anker as i want to use it for camping and the 3800 seems like a better mobile form factor

Does it have built-in ability to charge from solar and grid at the same time, and also can "auto-blend" or top up from AC when solar drops.

You are much better off with an off grid inverter and a server rack battery... the solar input on this model is incredibly limiting

1) portability
2) quiet
3) extremely easy to set up. no learning curve.
4) clean compact install without ugly wires/cables exposed everywhere

the solar is adequate at 5600w. obviously, if you need more, just get the new ultra pro x, which is 5kw x 2 or 10kw total.

diy off-grid systems are generally cheaper for a reason. both have their merits and drawbacks.

for some, this is a better choice, especially if you have the money, and don't have a lot of spare time to fiddle with diy. time is money.

problem with this deal is i don't want the stupid solar panel. make the deal a few hundred less and ditch the solar panel and i might be tempted to bite.

sick of deals with solar panels included.
