Used 256GB ones were close to this price recently (about $414 if I remember correctly). Per user reports, used 128GB units were as low as $288. So, this is about $100 overpriced.

Was it with a 30% off coupon? I've been checking the prices frequently and still haven't been able to get one. The lowest I saw was $414.

Yes, it was 30% off. priced at $543.51, came down to $380.46 + Tax

I recently purchased an Apple Mac mini and a MacBook Air, both listed in Used – Like New condition. I'm hoping they arrive as described and truly feel like new. However, I've since learned that these "Used – Like New" products generally don't include a manufacturer's warranty and are only covered by Amazon's 30‑day return policy. At the same time, I've seen comments from other buyers saying they were able to register their devices with Apple and even add AppleCare. Has anyone here recently purchased an Amazon Resale Used – Like New Apple product and successfully received warranty coverage?

amazon resale is a toss as people swap things when returning but amazon do not inspect properly before sending to new owners. I ordered a Logitech Master MX 3S and got a $10 crap mouse in it.
on flip side, ordered ipad air 256gb version on Nov 23, and when I entered the serial, warranty shows the purchased date as Nov 2 and have warranty till Nov 2026, it also came with screen protector to it . looks like someone bought a few weeks back and returned it. I got lucky with it unlike Logitech.

so it is not a guarantee what we get, just hope it turns out okay to you.
