My daughter had a 4 string and 2, 5 string Mikros. She even had an ESP 5 string 28.6" scale bass guitar as well. That one was a P bass.

Great bass guitars for the price. Ignore the BS the last guy said about it splintering.

No cheap beginners amp will be loud enough to play in a band, and they'll sound like trash. This will let you sound great, practice with headphones or with whatever speakers you have, and it'll let you know what sort of amp and tone you prefer if you stick with it long enough to get good and want to join a band. And it has a tuner, which you need anyway.
