The world realized that you dont need IPS for monitors since you're sitting right in front of the computer all the time. Therefore VA reemerged as the mainstream king.

This is supposed to be a very good VA panel. But I still went with IPS.

I have an old BenQ 32" 4K 60hz VA and just bought the recent Samsung 32" S70D 4K 60hz IPS deal. The difference between the two doesn't really impact me. The VA does get more gray when I look at it from an angle, but I never do that while working. I think the VA might have more vivid colors, but it's hard to tell.

Not really, the color vibrancy is different. Try comparing ips and va next to each other and you will see the difference.
Ips cost more for a reason.

99.9% of people won't know the difference. I've been using 32" VA panel (LG) for 8 years, and I added a 32" IPS a few years ago. I honestly prefer the VA panel. It's not the panel that makes the monitor (although it plays a large part), but I would say, it's the manufacturer. I would not hesitate on this monitor if you need a 32" for very little money.

I've been burned by VA in the past, and was looking for an IPS monitor. This monitor was recommend by a review site I trust and considerably cheaper, so I bought it. It sits next to a $1K Alienware OLED and it holds it's own. The blacks are better on the OLED, but the colors are spot on. It sits off to the side and I see a little wash on the far side, but only when viewed out of the corner of my eye. It doesn't get direct sunlight, but there is a large window in my office and I have no issues with brightness. When viewed straight on, the contrast is actually better than my OLED, but it loses this advantage quickly with viewing angle. Mine has no sticky pixels.

No longer available at that price, only seeing used ones for a little cheaper.
