Seems like there's only one pair of boots in the entire selection that are made of genuine leather. Everything else is faux leather. For those that don't know, faux leather shoes break apart extremely quickly. I bought two pairs of genuine leather boots from Macy's several years ago and they're still in pretty good shape and super comfortable. I had another pair of faux leather boots from Macy's as well which weren't all that comfortable and I don't think they even lasted me 6 months. All three pairs of boots were Macy's Alfani brand.

Yeah, the majority of shoes at Macy's are not remotely worth it.
Kinda surprised they don't even bother with genuine leather anymore. This cheap polyurethane stuff doesn't breathe, feels awful to walk around in, and degrades in such an awful way. Almost makes me miss the shiny, low quality, over-corrected grain leather of the not-too-distant past.

This is the reason there are not many wild faux left. Their weak skins make them susceptible to both predators and natural dangers. It's a shame we continue to use them for our shoes.

The poor man pays twice. But at $20 if I replace these every year for the next 10 years I'm still paying less than a good Red Wing or equivalent. And that's not counting the cost of re-soling every few years.

I'm not sure if we're looking at the same store but a simple fabric filter shows 406 pairs

I bought the black pair two years ago and wear them consistently throughout the winter. They held up great and have no complaints. Best $20 I've spent in a while

Thanks for the heads up. I could've sworn there was a very limited selection of shoes when this was first posted, but now I see that there's way more. Unfortunately, I still see faux leather results pop up when selecting just "leather," but definitely getting more real leather results.
