For the average person it may not matter (Keurig users, you know who you are) If you're in tune with your coffee, it makes a noticeable difference

I think all stainless steel mugs make the coffee taste off. I found something this size on Amazon that was ceramic lined inside for $14, and it's now my go to cup.

I noticed that when I copied the link to you. I have four of them and use them every weekday. No issues here and I wash them in the dishwasher
