Nah, I would say the other batteries and charger are worth about $21 more.

All joking aside, I personally value the 5 Ah and 2 Ah at $70, the charger at $0 (since I already have six spares). I would put a $50 value on the 3.5 Ah POWERSTACK (although I think it will be while before we can get one at that price). Therefore, overall the two deals are pretty much a wash. I would personally go for the POWERSTACK since I'd like to try the new 3.5 Ah out and I definitely don't need more of the 2 Ah or 5 Ah packs. I certainly think that other people would prefer the kit. Now my bigger issue is I already have all of these exact tools except the rotary hammer and the hammer drill, and my rotary hammer and hammer drills don't need replacing.

It's not really that good. The 1.7 and 3.5 PS batteries aren't any more useful than a standard XR IMO and shouldn't be rated much over the default $10/AH. 5AH PS batteries are comparable to the 6AH XRs so should be valued in the $12/AH range and as mentioned chargers at $0 but neither are relevant to this deal. A 921/923 should never be valued above $129 so you're looking at a total value of $164ish but paying $177 plus tax with the only other benefit of included shipping.

Deal Verdict - room temperature.

I have the DCF921 and it can easily remove my 4runner lug nuts and also my motorcycle axel nut with ease.
Check out this channel that tests out tools, you can see how much torque it actually produces vs manufacture claims:

I was really curious as to what advantages there are to power stack batteries. It seems like more marketing than real benefit.

It seems like the DCF 921 brushless impact wrench is small enough to fit into tight spaces.

Yeah, it's very small profile for a 1/2" impact wrench, I use it quite often as my go to even if I don't need all that much torque.

XR series is great. But don't go for any of the atomic deals. They are not nearly as good.

The powerstack 1.7's are the cats pajamas. They supposedly work for larger tools because they have better amps or some marketing crap. I stuck a 1.7 on the 6.5in saw and used it for most of the day-big hoot. That being said this seems a tad on the high side unless they have something on the tool side you're hunting and also want the newest batteries.
