I jumped on this a few years ago when it hit this price. Seems like it's a reoccurring deal around this time of year. I use the fan the most out of the tools. The speaker is trash and is worth maybe $5 at best. Of course a spare battery and charger are nice to have. The light is handy to have. At $59 for the bundle it seems like a decent deal overall.

What do you think of the light? Is it like a lantern or flashlight?

It's a lantern-type light

Whenever I see this kit I wonder how the camp trip goes. You charge up the 1.5Ah battery before you leave, put it in the fan when you get there to cool off, then switch it to the speaker for some music and then put it in the lamp to read a book. It's the perfect solution as long as you never want to do two things at once.

Agreed, really. Much better solution would be USB C rechargeable items. Walmart Onn branded rugged speake is like $20. Wal-Mart Mainstays brand has a gorilla grip armed USB C mini fan for sub $20 also (more personal fan sized output though, kinda weak). I'm sure a USB C area light is readily available. Probably available at Walmart too. Now everything is universally charged and independent of a bulky Ryobi battery. This is coming from a Ryobi 18v family user too.

Snagged one which is perfect during power outages to keep the kids comfy without complaining. I had the Ryobi light which worked well yesterday during the outage and some cheap usb-c fans. This addition will be helpful for future outages

Tempted to buy this just for the battery and charger...

I gotta ask other Ryobi users though: do the batteries seem to outlive the chargers for ya'll too? Such a strange problem to have, I would think it would be the other way around

In for 1. I don't think Direct Tools can do better than this bundle. I'll still be there on Friday though!

Pictured in the background appears to be a proper Ryobi inverter to use 120V devices with multiple ports. Everything in this pack is clutter, especially the small battery.
