Good deal if you're building a budget PC and don't want to pay the RAM tax.

Grabbed.
Had (odd) need of a low-density DDR4 kit, and needed a B550 board for a (separate) gift build.

Does seem to lack the second m.2 (chipset, Gen3) of the non-wifi but, PCIex4-M.2 adapters are common and affordable.

Can someone recommend a budget/decent CPU for this board? I'm looking to spend $120-$150

5600 is at that price right now. I just sold mine because I bought a 5800XT which wasn't much an upgrade besides something that wouldn't bottleneck a AMD 9070XT GPU.

Great deal! Just bought this + Ryzen 5 5500 CPU from Newegg. I just wanted the cheapest small upgrade to get my PC to be Windows 11 compatible (coming from an Intel Core i7-7700k).

I suggest keeping an eye out for used amd4 CPUs. As people are upgrading to amd5 you might be able to find a low priced CPU like the 5800 or similar.

It says limit of 2, but I ordered 2 of these so I would have 32 GB RAM and a spare motherboard for only $10 more than the 16 GB RAM kit would be by itself.

But a while after ordering, they said the free item was being removed from my order.

So I canceled the second motherboard order, which successfully canceled.

For the processor, I ordered a Ryzen 5500 using the Perplexity PayPal 50% rewards, so this is a low cost upgrade for my old computer. I got the Woot cooler deal also, so about $158 net after cash back + tax.

Cyber Monday wasn't looking too good, but glad I scored this deal and saved money over the $1300 system I was thinking about pulling the trigger on until PayPal started taking away the discounts and then today pulled away the free liquid cooler for the processor I wanted. Their deal got worse for Cyber Monday. lol

The Ripjaws memory included with this deal was in stock for $89.99 last evening, and I tried to order it, but they canceled due to a limit, then it went out of stock, and it was back in stock this morning for $99.99, an increase of $10. By then, I had already ordered some other memory with the exact same times for that exact same price $99.99, so I expect it work, despite being Team T-FORCE vs. G.Skill Ripjaws.

Update: The Ripjaws memory jumped up another $5 since this morning to $104.99 now.

Here is the Ripjaws memory that comes with this bundle and the Team memory I bought, that has the same timings:

https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-ri...6820231941

https://www.newegg.com/team-group...6820331354

So my major computer upgrade is costing me about $275 after purchasing extra RAM, tax, and cashback all included.
