Installation+cable/pipe+delivery+haul away is another $225 ~ $300.Best option is to get one from Costco (if you have membership). You get free delivery + installation + haul away + 2yrs of warranty. Just ordered cheapest one from Costco for $525 including tax. This one comes out to be $585 with tax.

Dishwasher installation isn't too difficult for even the beginner DIY'r. Literally, disconnect and reconnect power supply, water supply line, and drain hose. Attach dishwasher to counter or cabinets. Done. Dishwashers are one of those few applications that don't have hazardous materials in them, so either bulk trash or your city's landfill should take them at no/minimal charge.

In my area we have a guy that offers to pick up "junk" like that for free on NextDoor. Within 2 hours of calling, it was gone.

Not everyone is a DIY person + I do not have a truck or SUV to load dishwasher and take it to city landfill (and it's not free in my town, fee is $48/ton with minimum amount for 1 ton). Other option is to put it up for free or parts on FB or wait for monthly bulk trash pickup. I will rather save time/energy and let Costco take care of it for me.

Just because it has a steel tub and lower decibel doesn't mean a better deal. To get lower decibel, super easy to wrap a moving blanket or add insulation. Also insignia branded (best buy house version) and reviews claiming it starts to break down fast

I've had mine's for years now.

Got mine for $199 if I remember correctly (on here).

https://slickdeals.net/f/17596896-insignia-24-front-control-built-in-dishwasher-w-smart-wash-stainless-steel-200-free-shipping

ZERO issues. Used everyday... IMO best bang for your buck so far in my kitchen. We talked about getting one for the new house, but I ended up doing a costco kitchen deal for a whole set.

You know... I've got an insignia icemaker that won't die as well. I've been using that just as long as the dishwasher (got that for $35). Only reason why I wanna get rid of it, is it doesn't hold enough ice (our household uses A LOT of ice).

While YMMV, i've had great experiences with my insignia products. (I thought otherwise as well at first)

Or maybe i'm just lucky.

Insignia may be the worst manufacturer of all appliances…

I just had a dishwasher installed by Costco. I need to pay 100 for a airgap and 200 for drilling a hole for airgap. What is included in Home Depot installation?

I did installation myself, but need to move the old ones to the curb and call for pick up. That's about 2-hr hard dirty messy work. If I can get costco guys to install it, I would
