do not be fooled by marketing -- this is NOT epoxy!! Epoxy by definition is two parts - a resin and a hardener. This will not last and the product reviews support this. When you want to go epoxy later you will need to scrape off this coating from the entire garage floor. It will be a bear to do.

After reading reviews it looks like this doesn't last long before it starts chipping/peeling. Lots of reports of it coming up after you park a car on it even after allowing it to dry over a week...

Epoxy concrete floors require extensive prep work. Grinding the floor is best to rough it up and give the epoxy something to stick to. If you're going to all of that trouble, I'd at least go with a 2-part epoxy finish.

Very possibly - it's been in my cart for years - I'll get around to buying it (and applying it) one of these days.

I agree. If you don't prep the floor properly, you're just wasting your time and $$.

Well, according to Oxford languages the definition is
ep·ox·y /əˈpäksē/
noun: epoxy; plural noun: epoxies; noun: epoxy resin; plural noun: epoxy resins
any of a class of adhesives, plastics, or other materials that are polymers of epoxides.
Or from Merriam:
adjective

1: containing oxygen attached to two different atoms already united in some other way
specifically : containing a 3-membered ring consisting of one oxygen and two carbon atoms
2: of or relating to an epoxide

DO NOT use this in your garage, ever .... however, this would be good if you wanted to paint your basement floor.
