Do not buy. This is the junk model with plastic paddle. It sucks. I know from experience. There is a version with a metal paddle that is so much better that I upgraded to because of how bad this version was.

how would this 80v battery powered snowblower compare to a plug in snowblower that is 14v?

1000% agree, the plastic paddle simply sucks. Maybe if you just do a short sidewalk this would be fine.

The better one you're talking is the 22" version or the two stage 24"? Thank you!

I have used the plastic one for years and never thought it would hold up but it has. Ice, rocks, etc... and it actually keeps working. I have a monster gas blower on tracks and almost never use it anymore. The little battery one works great for everything except super wet packed snow.

Better than shoveling even though it has to be pushed through the snow. Anything over 4" or wet I use my 2-cycle Toro with the metal/rubber flapper.

Same. I got this for my mom who was elderly to clear small amounts of snow frequently as this was very easy to handle and move around. I inherited it since her passing and finally am getting to use it! It works GREAT as long as the snow isn't more than 6 inches deep per pass or melted and refrozen packed ice.
