Avoid this one. It is way underpowered. Practically useless for anything thicker than 1/8" soft aluminum or wood. forget steel or plexiglass. I think if it was an M18 it would have been the right pick. I just could not use it on anything and picked up a DeWalt version with the 20v battery. The DeWalt is perfect. This was a miss on Milwaukee.

I agree, this thing is junk, bought one of these a few years ago and it was a waste of money.
I use mine all the time, light and small, easier to handle than my larger 41/2" 2686-20 . Will it cut have stock or sch80 pipe, not quickly. SHeet metal, ducting, PVC, plastic, wood(with wood blade), Tile (with tile blade), modifying nuts, bolts screws, upgrading chinesium tools from harbor freight to fit in tight spaces, zipping off nails from boards, super handy
I do not use the included guide thing that looks like a skill saw
I did deisgn and print a blade and tool carrier, DL ==> https://www.printables.com/model/...22-storage
I really like this, it's not for heavy duty work but great for getting in tight spaces. I've used it to put an edge on tools, cut of nails and screws, cut pipe under sinks, modify bolts, cut tile, cut through grout. It's not powerful, under powered but so light and small it has great control
I don't understand the hate. I love this little guy. Eliminated 90% of angle grinder usage and dramel. Yes It won't replace a angle grinder but perfect for most uses. It's so light and fits into places. I recently did gutter guards and this was perfect to cut things while you are up on a ladder. 100% recommended! That being said this came in a kit and planned on selling so it's hard to guage the value. 100$ seems fair for nice to have tool specially since you can sell the battery
