Keep in mind this is the 7i variant. Obvious to some, but may be an issue with alerts.

B&H has the same model for the same price, but includes 2x1 TB storage M.2 SSDs.

Really was hoping for a 5080, but the price difference doesn't seem to be shrinking.

Also surprised to see the Amazon warning about this being a frequently returned item.

Yeah looking at the bad reviews it seems like some people were expecting a 2TB version yet got a 1TB so probably something to do with a bad listing when it dropped.

Why are you saying that it may be issues with alerts? isn't Intel 9 275hx better for battery life than 9955HX? or i there something else at play here? THX

Been looking for a new gaming laptop w/ 5070 ti, and this might be it. Seems like the Legions are generally regarded as better quality, no bottlenecking for the GPU, easier to upgrade if you want to add a second SSD, and its the 7i pro so it has the better cooling features (although this seems to come at the expense of some noise). Might finally be time to put the money down.
ETA: Looks like this comes with a free code for BF6 as well.

I've read that these 7 series models have issues with their wireless card in Linux. It's making me think twice about purchasing
