Is it even worth buying a DJI right now? The December security review is coming up fast and the feds can still retro-ban units already in the US. Kinda wild DJI still selling their products at high like nothing's about to happen.

I think there would be some major push back from all the consumers considering dji has been the only drone worth a damn since its inception. People would definitely be up in arms if their current drones quit functioning. But maybe because this is the rc drone that doesn't need an app, it will still be viable? Also its returnable til Jan 31st so if news comes out that it's an outright retroactive ban then you can just return it.

It's one of those things where even if it's illegal, everyone does it. There's no way they could practically enforce this without a revolt.
