Someone else with more knowledge can chime in, but this seems like far too little capacity for that. I'm looking at it for temporary blackouts. My whole house uses ~20kwh per day on a full load. With just a few circuits on, this 3kwh should hold me over for a few hours in a blackout. A Tesla model Y has a capacity of ~80kwh. This would charge it 3-4% (totally back of the envelope math no loss for efficient etc). Tesla owners could chime in but that would be less than 10 miles range right?

I have this exact Jackery unit, and 3 EVs. I can say with confidence that it will surely charge an EV in an emergency, adding ~10 miles of range. Which would probably take a couple of hours and you'd want to get a TT-30 adapter to take advantage of 120V-30A charging.

Bought this in the last deal- when it was paired with a 200w SolarSaga, hooked it up the other day and it fails to charge via solar. Glad I got it through Amazon, as I feel the return will be easier...I just wonder whether I need to return BOTH items, or just the Homepower 3000?

$899 with coupon code on offgridstores and tax free in most states. They're an authorized Jackery seller as well.

How long does it hold a charge without use? Does it hurt to leave this in charge mode all the time? I want to use this for a small business when the power goes out and the POS computer and the networking gear needs to stay on. The problem is that the PC and the networking gear are in different places so I don't know how I'd get this to work exactly, unless I bought 2 smaller capacity ones instead.

Don't use the right angle adapter on the solar panel cable. Apparently its for a different port.
