Perfect timing. I bought one earlier this year brand new, but this pricing tempted me enough to go for a second Bose Soundlink Max to have a Stereo pair! It's annoying though as this model suffers parasitic battery drain (each week the battery on mines drains by 20% when off, so I just keep it plugged in).

Besides the vampire battery drainage, how are the sound and connectivity?

Check for firmware update. App updates automatically but the speaker does not. Fixed my sound link parasitic drain 100%! Good luck, these speakers are awesome.
