I wonder if any of your water tank have mold inside it... how do you clean it?

i let it air dry, but it doesn't help... and the water tank can not be disassembled the only way is to buy a new one... i try to shake it violently with water and it works a bit but it won't clean the whole tank.

After dumping the dirty water tank I'll rinse with fresh water and a little bleach, leave a little bit of that mixture in the dirty tank too. Works great. No problems with the clean tank yet, but I use a little pine sol every so often when I have it mop so maybe that cuts down on bacteria

I forgot to add that I think I have an S7 with the mopping dock, so idk if that affects things.

Thanks. I was thinking of that, but the manual states do not put cleaning agent inside the tank, so i only use water only. I will put cleaning agent now to see if i shake it, mold would go away…

my unit is an S8 standalone (no home base self cleaning and self purging)...

that's the water tank that has mold inside

I can't imagine filling it with water and a little bleach, letting it sit for 30 mins or so (there are even stronger anti-mold solutions available) will not take care of it.

I have been rocking Roborock S7+ for 4 years now and it is still going strong. I am envious that y'all are already getting 10R. I think I will use my unit for another year and once it hits 5 years, I will move to 10R as well. Pumped for you, guys!

That's the one I want to replace our s8 maxv too. Having auto water drain and refill will be a game changer. It's on sale on Amazon, but not roborock.com. Seems like an oversight for sure. I'll probably hold off until there is a roborock trade in value with a discount on the auto empty and drain Saros 10... Seems like a good upgrade.
