Ever since samsung and vizio pushed updates with ads, I have never given my tv the wifi password. My approach now is to use the tv as a monitor and hook up a streaming box that I can replace when it gets laggy (or if they litter it with ads).

I also think anemic hardware is most likely the reason most TV apps suck. Get an Apple TV, nVidia Shield, or Roku Ultra and enjoy your interface much more. I use a 2024 Roku Ultra, as it's the cheapest, ticks off all the compatibility checkmarks (DV, eARC, etc.), and the UI is very responsive. If Roku ever gets too intrusive with ads, I'll switch devices; zero tolerance for ads in my entertainment or purchased devices.

Costco one was same price and "pro" series. I really want to upgrade my tv for gaming, but think I'll hold off until next week. Seems like the Hisense that's similar has slightly better reviews on rtngs and doesn't have google tv.

"Your exclusive Prime Card offers

I wonder if it'll work with Prime Business AmEx? Usually cash back isn't instant, but anybody confirm if the 10% shows in checkout?

I haven't used a GoogleTV in a few years -- my older Sony (3-4 years old?) has Google, and it's SOOOO laggy on inputs. It was relegated to the basement in favor of Roku, which seems much snappier.

Have they improved that on more recent iterations?

I'm holding off also and hoping 75" is same price or better 65" model. If this deal is 4 places should be something better next week I hope

i just got 2 of the 75inch TVs. Upgraded from a 2018 Samsung 65. I also have a Samsung S90C for gaming so i know what to expect from these QM6k tv. Google Tv is way better than samsung interface. The lack of lag is most noticeable on the TCLs. So far, we could not be happier with these Tvs
hopefully the 75 drops in price so i can get a BB price match

It's most often not software that is the issue, but a hardware issue. Crap processor in the tv, crap performance. Google OS is the best OS tbh. Roku is right behind as a simple OS

Sam's has the QM63K for $498. Includes 3 year manufacturer's warranty. I just bought it. I don't think it will get much better next week.

I wish TCL still had Roku OS. My Samsung OLED OS is straight butt.
