I would probably splurge for the stylist if I was looking at this phone just because you get OLED and 1080p and all that stuff and it's not much more money and maybe even less money if you go through straight talk or visible. But I have to admit I absolutely love the colors. That green one looks so cool it reminds me of Fenway Park.
I think the only bloat if you can call it that on the unlocked versions you buy from Amazon or just whatever Motorola stock apps they don't let you disable. Like the Moto glance app is annoying. I think that's on all Motorola phones. You can disable it but sometimes it'll re-enable itself.
If you go through the prepaid carriers there's a lot more bloat. If you go through the prepaid carriers first thing you have to do after uninstalling all the bloat is to also uninstall a system app called mobile service manager which allows them to add bloat.
Honestly it's criminal that carriers are even allowed to have the mobile service app buried deep in system apps were non-tech savvy user isn't even going to know what it is or how to get rid of it or what it does.
First time I ever discovered the scourge called the mobile service manager was actually on a postpaid LG v60 from AT&t which is a great phone. But it had mobile service manager and it would allow AT&t to just put apps on my phone that I didn't want mostly crappy games.
It spooked me I thought I might have got malware or something but I looked into it and it's actually been around for a while and you can disable the mobile service manager. It shouldn't exist.

Awesome, nice find, this is a rare, fully featured phone (SD card, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, 15w wireless charging, NFC, IP68/69)
Yes I agree I do like when Motorola is doing although I do think most people that are going to spend $290 bucks on the power or probably better off just getting the stylus instead which you can get for similar price. And it has 67 won't charging in an OLED screen and a 1080p screen and wireless charging and all that stuff. Although it does have a in display fingerprints did a capacitive which I don't prefer but everything else I prefer the moto styl.
You can also get it for free from straight talk which is a verizon-based MV&l so it'll unlock in 60 days.
But either way I'm pretty pumped about what Motorola's been doing I love their colors. I love the faux leather back. It's got an excellent stock launcher with super cool gestures. I got my first Motorola phone this year and I just am so glad there's a decent phone out there with a headphone jack and an SD card
I had multiple moto g stylus phones, I did like them/all solid choices, but they had dropped FM from 2025 stylus, so I'm now going to give this 2025 g power a try
For lower end phones, they're not bad. I had the previous year's Moto 5G.
Out of the box, there's just the Moto Apps and a FB stub (link to the program installer, is uninstallable.) However once you put it on wifi, it downloads the Moto App Store which then automatically downloads 5 random apps (news, games). You can uninstall the random apps. The Moto App Store is not uninstallable, but you can disable it and it won't download junk.
"The Motorola Moto G Power (2025) is expected to receive a total of two major Android updates: it launched with Android 15 and has been updated to Android 16, with a promise for one more update to Android 17."

Mediatek 7020 (2024) vs 6300 (2025)
