I have these and they are terrible. Looking to replace, which is why I found this thread. They need reset regularly. I think they are being hit by some vulnerability. I do not recommend.

Just got these a few weeks ago for like 4 bucks more. Can't even split the guest WiFi into different bands without splitting the main wifi. Coming from an Asus router the software is no bueno.

I hear people complaining about wifi being trash all the time, but PSA these mesh routers arent exactly plug and play.. If you get disconnected periodically its not necessarily bad hardware, maybe its band steering in your phone/tab trying to switch between satellites and just failed. the most reliable way to troubleshoot it is setup separate bands for consistency. it could be many reasons.. channel crowding? bad satellite placement? use the tools that they give you to find out why.
but yeah, netgear software is trash
