From the Samsung website, the S10 Lite has a higher resolution screen, faster processor, faster charging, better battery life, more memory in the cheapest model, much better software support (until 2032 vs 2027) and it comes with an S-Pen (A9+ does not support S-Pen). Unless your budget is extremely limited, the A9+ doesn't look like a good value to me.
Samsung Exynos 1380 and 6GB RAM? Bro this is literally the A35 as a tablet lmao. Samsung has been racking up all the L's with how uninspired and stingy they've gotten.
wow price history shows this is the lowest this has ever been. thinking of getting this to replace a samsung a9+ 128gb version. anyone know if it's worth it?

Same here... Got the A9 version about a year back. Sufficient for my needs but the kid is using it now.

any specifics to this?

I've been on the fence waiting for a better tablet deal. The s9 tablet is low end and not for advanced users. Now that this popped up I was about to pull the trigger on the 256 version which is $319. But after much more reading and looking at the processor I ended up getting a Xiaomi Pad 7 8GB/256GB. The processor on the Xiaomi is just way better then the s10.
For regular users this is a good deal esp with the pen.

the exynos 1380 is ok-ish. the 6gb of ram instead of 8gb seems a little more worrisome. but i guess both are arguably about right for 250.
anyways with the tariffs and ban on Chinese products, complete lack of any competition to Samsung and apple as well as sky high regulations and govt inflation, this is what you are left with.
