If you use two camera systems, you can use an adaptor

My thoughts too. Is this for older cameras, or do people still use this in newer cameras? I remember seeing CF used mostly in large professional cameras back in the day. But I thought pretty much everything these days was SD/microSD

Why did crApple take so long to get there and over charge for less for years, and continue to do so?

You might be thinking of CF which was around in the 90s. CF Express Type A is slightly smaller and a lot faster than an SD card. My a7iii (and other Sony Alphas) can have a CF Express-A or an SD card in the bottom slot and then just an SD card in the top slot. Like a previous comment, Type A is for Sony cameras and Type B is for cannon & nikon.

This is a modern version of the old CF. It is way better than SD. The fastest SD card is way slower than a slow CF. Modern cameras use CF for high resolution with high frame rates video recording.

SD can't meet the speed requirements of modern cameras.

Dang, would've loved this. I didn't see the right price yesterday, and obviously it's still the $359.99 today.
