Any opinions on this tv? Looks like Rtings only reviewed the 65" which is limited to 60hz native refresh rate.

I'm also intrigued by this deal and the comparison between the cheaper E6.

I know the QD is mini-LED and the E6 is not. Not looking for a primary tv, purpose is mostly for movie and show viewing. Also, zero interest in the fireTV OS.

Add an "onn" brand Google TV dongle for like $20. I did this with my Roku TV

QD7 vs QM6 consensus us that the QM6 is better but the 85" currently $999 and the Hisense QD7 is $800... May be worth saving $200

QD7 is definitely better thank the E6. It has mini led lights which allow the blacks to be darker and whites to be brighter resulting in better images. I saw both the QD6 (what I assume the E6 is a variation of) and the QD7 at best buy and the QD7 was much better. This is a pretty good deal considering these larger sizes are 144hz. I believe best buy also had this size on display.
I'm considering buying the smaller 50 inch and my only hesitation is that Hisense has a reputation for their TVs not lasting a long time. So if you do go for this I would say try and use it a lot before the return period ends to make sure you didn't get a dud.
If you really feel like splurging keep an eye out for the Hisense U6. It's the next step up and this one really wowed me at the store. If you live within 20 mins of a best buy my advice would be to go see them for yourself and compare. Just check online or call to make sure you local store has the models you want to see. Not every store will have all models on display.

Also want to add to look into the TCL QM5K which is essentially their version of the QD7 but it's the start of the mid range line instead of the top of their budget like the QD7 is. Similar specs but the QM5K is slightly better overall and comes with Google OS instead of Fire TV. A Little more expensive but they've been going on sale too. Exclusive to Best Buy.

I went cheaper. Purchased the E6 as this will be meant for a game room that's very open (natural light everywhere). I saw the QM6K in store and looked great but never made it to Best Buy for anything else.I'm moving the existing 55" Hisense H9G to my bedroom and have had zero issues with that 4 year old tv. It was also never a main tv, so usage was spare. I've been fortunate to not have any issues with Hisense products in my home.

Good point. I've been looking at smaller sizes. But yes for the larger sizes it is probably a better deal to get the 144hz QD7. Both are 60hz in smaller sizes.

85" QD7 or 85" U6 from Hisense?
Difference is $100 on Amazon.

Both are mini LED TV's with 144 HZ refresh.

I'm debating between this of the 75" qm6k pro at costco for $700. Both seem to have similar specs
