Does anyone have the best 50 or 55 inch TV for the money for use with a PS5?? Google operating system is a plus (like TCL).

Ideally I would like the price to be as cheap as possible for something that works well for PS5.

Sam's has a TCL 55Q671G with a 3 year warranty for $279 (not on sale) and if I can't find anything I am going with that.
Not sure if this works for PS5. if you live near a Shoprite.

Unfortunately I don't have Shoprite in my area. I found the Walmart TCL for $398 but its out of stock. I did see the Target TV deal but that doesn't have the requirements. Apparently the requirements are a 120hz refresh rate and hdmi 2.1 and the cheaper TV's do not have that (neither does the Sam's club one I listed so that's out). So the cheapest I found was the Walmart TCL but by the time I redeemed enough gift cards from my receipt apps to cover it the thing went out of stock.

Best brand would be Sony, Bravia 9 series but crazy expensive. The MiniLED market is being dominated by TCL and Hisense; Samsung /LG has pretty much given up on the MiniLED market and are mostly active in the OLED market. For TCL - QM9K >> QM8K >>QM7K and QM6K are the series to look for. Don't see any QM9K deals, so it will be mostly QM8K, QM7K and QM6K depending on your budget and needs. There are a few last year models with pretty good deals as well. Hisense has some pretty good stuff too but not sure about their quality.
That's great information. Thank you for th details. I've started looking at the TCL and it seems like BJs had a nice deal on the QM6K at 75" with 15% CB @699. Would I see a noticeable difference between the QM6K and QM7K?

Yes, QM7K is a significant jump overall from QM6K while the QM8K isn't a big leap from QM7K. However, lot of people are happy with QM6K; it would depend on the content you watch. QM6K falls into the "best bang for the buck" category entry level TV and it does good in almost all areas. The only area it doesn't do well is the HDR content which many wouldn't notice. If you can swing the extra $300 go for the QM7K. If not, QM6K is plenty good enough and you won't be disappointed
Check out the ratings comparison here - https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...8608/88607 and a video comparison here - https://youtu.be/Henp0KeHuJk?si=4Qi4AJs53xiMXbcT

Disclosure: I was in the same QM6K pro (Costco version) v QM7K boat and went with the QM7K (its a 98" and hasn't been delivered yet); price difference was $130; the only thing I'm slightly disappointed is the 5 yr warranty that comes with Costco while you have to pay $450 extra for the same at BB. I didnt get the extended warranty.

I was able to score the QM6 that is at Walmart, it goes in and out of stock, there is a protection plan for $54 at Walmart that goes for 5 years so I got that. I really don't need the best TV and the QM7 was significantly more money than the 6. I was disappointed Sam's club didn't carry that model as they offer a free 3 year warranty on most TV's and a 5 year warranty on some. Compared to the BF deals Sam's club TV's seem to be really overpriced. The one I was looking for was equivalent to the Target deal for $169 which I would have gotten that one but I have a PS5 and that TV doesn't have the requirements for that such as 120hz and hdmi 2.1, so even if I paid for the protection plan on that cheap TV and the price it would have come out less than the $279 Sam's club one which was similar. I don't have a costco membership nor one in my area but they are building one right now. However the warranty from Sam's is just an extended TCL warranty its not their warranty and the Walmart Warranty is from Allstate, I would assume TCL would deny more claims then if you pay for the allstate protection plan.

Good for you. Walmart one is a steal for the price. I think Costco may start to carry the QM7K version next year (they already carry in Canada). The Allstate warranty will only kick-in after the manufacturer warranty of 1 year. Allstate will kick the claim to TCL in the first year.

Costco also has the same Allstate warranty, except it is offered free (3yr) with the TV purchases; and the manufacturer warranty is extended to 2 yr making it 5 yr. I think all warehouse clubs have tied up with Allstate.
